About Me
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Organizational Science from The George Washington University and a Master’s in Social Work from Tulane University. Before transitioning to a career in therapy, I was an early team member at several financial technology startups, where I gained extensive experience in building teams and crafting innovative solutions. This experience fueled my passion for working with people and collaborating to develop creative approaches to challenges—a passion that now guides my work as a therapist. I am committed to supporting clients on their journey toward greater well-being, personal growth, and meaningful change.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I view therapy as a powerful tool that enables individuals to gain deeper insight into their emotional experiences, understand the root causes of their challenges, and develop the necessary skills to navigate life’s complexities. I firmly believe that with the right support, everyone has the capacity to heal, grow, and create meaningful change in their lives.
My therapeutic approach combines a range of evidence-based modalities, each tailored to meet the unique needs of my clients. I draw from techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which helps individuals identify and reframe negative thought patterns; Solution-Focused Therapy, which emphasizes finding practical solutions and setting achievable goals; mindfulness practices, which promote self-awareness and emotional regulation; and person-centered approaches, which focus on building a trusting, empathetic therapeutic relationship.
By blending these approaches, I aim to provide a holistic treatment plan that empowers clients to build resilience, develop healthier coping strategies, and ultimately lead a life that is more aligned with their values and aspirations. Whether addressing anxiety, depression, trauma, or life transitions, my goal is to create a supportive and non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their emotions and begin their journey toward healing and personal growth.
